Q. Do you set up the yurts?

Yes! with loving care!

Q. How long does it take to put up?

A small yurt takes approx 2 hours with decor. For the whole Yurtel we allow 1 day for construction; furnishings and styling take longer.

Q. Is it weatherproof?

Yes, Mongolians live in these structures!

Q. How much space do I need?

A space of 14ft round for one yurt and a space of approx 23m x 23m for the whole Yurtel.

Q. Do the yurts have windows?

Yes! Our yurts are specially designed with a window in the roof and a huge window inside allowing lots of light to filter through. A roll down blind ensures a good night's sleep!

Q. Can the Yurt go anywhere?

Almost... we need reasonably flat land. Because our yurts have no pegs it can go onto any surface including tarmac and concrete.

Q. Is it warm inside the yurt?

Yes... in the winter months we recommend that you hire one of our wood burning stoves to heat your yurt. For childrens parties we can supply freestanding radiator.

Q. Tell us about your woodburning stoves...

Woodburning stoves look amazing inside the yurt and provide an eco source of heating. Our stoves are very easy to attend and come with a guard and a good supply of wood.

Q. What are your optional extras?

Q. What does a basic package consist of?

We will supply the yurt with a sea grass fitted carpet, a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.

Q. What makes your yurts different?

Our yurts are a modern contemporary design with extra large doors and windows. They have a porch and can be connected with tunnels. We have come away from the bohemian look and created our own boutique hotel with an attention to detail that leaves you feeling special.

Q. What do I need to hire a dutchtub?

You will need some reasonably flat land preferably a hard surface but it is fine on grass. We use a hose�to fill the tub up from a nearby water supply.

Q. Do you supply the wood?

Yes... we supply enough wood for your rental.

Q. What is the minimum rental time?

We hire dutchtubs for a weekend or more. A minium of 2 days rental. The dutchtub is a bathing experience and the positive effects to your body accumulate over time.

Q. How long does it take to get the temperature correct?

Between 2 - 2.5 hours.

Q. Can you control the temperature?

Yes, there are some knacks to keeping your fire at a good temperature which we will tell you� on delivery and set up.

Q. Can you provide a fire attendant?

Yes,�if you would like a fire attendant�to keep your dutchtub going�we can arrange this at an additional cost.

Beare in mind that a dutchtub is really easy to get up to temperature, but it does take some time and is part of the dutchtub experience, a bit like a BBQ!

Q. Can I cook on a dutchtub?

Yes, we even provide a specially designed wok.

Q. What type of rooms do you have at festivals?

We offer kingsize doubles, twins and a large family size yurt.

Q. How do I book a room at a festival?

Go to the festival page on this website then scroll down to the link which will take you to our partner sites, boutique camping.net or podpads. We are using their secure booking system so choose the yurtel option and follow the on screen prompts. click here to make a booking

Q. What do I get in a festival room?

A king size bamboo bed, clean white sheets with a sumptuous duvet.

Somewhere to put your clothes, a bedside table with fresh cut flowers and complementary water,

A sturdy wooden lockable door with your own key, an emergency contact number should you have any problems with your room.

Chocolates on your pillow and a goodie bag from our Eco Day Spa.

Q. Where is the value?

As we have teamed up with Boutique Camping and podpads, included in your Yurtel booking are use of the posh showers, nice toilets and security which are exclusive to these camping areas, so no need to queue for hours or worry about your things!

Q. Do I need to buy a festival ticket?

Yes... We do not sell tickets. Once you have booked with us we shall send you details on how and where to find us at your chosen festival.

Q. How many people can sleep in the yurtel room?

14ft yurts are either twin or double with space for a cot or child mattress.

24ft yurt can fit 2 king size beds and up to 6 futon mattresses on the floor, ideal for 2 families.

Q. Why do you take a deposit?

We like to maintain the standard of our hire equipment as we use quality furnishings and like to keep them good for the next person.

This is a totally refunadable deposit dependant on the condition of the yurt on check out.
